I really like this shot for its simplicity. It's nice, but somehow the table doesn't live up to the contemp. style of the vase, flowers and wall. It's like it should be a marble or something. Close...

The problem with this shot is that the centre of interest does not attract the eye of the viewer, because it blends in, too well with the background and the other colours in the photo.

What draws the eye is the vase, not the flowers and only because the colour of the vase is slightly more prominent than the colours in the rest of the photo. In this regard the shot does not work.

An interesting experiment would be to change the flowers to yellow, orange, or purple.
