    I'll see your bench...

...and raise you two ducks. Just kidding - I know this shot is not the equal of the duck and bench shots that have been on here lately, but they are the reason that I got the camera and went back after seeing these guys in the park. As you can see, we've had enough rain in Southern Wisconsin.

    and here's the one...

... that I took because of Nat's glass bubbles. Again mine falls short of the one that inspired it.

see you saw what I saw...too

there is something fascinating about glass and round buble like shapes...

mmm I love glass... I don't think this falls short but maybe a different angle or rotating it and cropping so it's more of an abstract. I like the exposure I like the details.... any other ones of this...

wondering if this is a set up you can mess around with?

    Glad you like my glass.

I might be able to take this again. One of my kids runs some carnie games and washes the little goldfish bowls every week. Last week it was in my kitchen and I started looking at this just as he was ready to pack everything away. The other (handheld [really handshook]) shots were blurry. Since I like pattern shots I'll get out the tripod next time and mess around some more.

When I read your other post I started thinking about different setups, but non of them involved my getting down on the floor and shooting up through them. (Old Fat guys don't think that way) I was thinking one bowl out of many having a fish in it - different food color in some bowls - one bowl of many filled with clear glass marbles (smaller bubles) - other things I probably wouldn't do.

Thank you for sharing these with us.

Thanks Penny, I hope the rains let up for a few days. I'm camping at a motorcycle rally starting tomorrow night.
