    The Magical Garden Tour

I've inserted the border due to the white page backdrop. All comments and critique appreciated.

    Dear Tuna,

Let me guess, infared? The grass kind of looks that way anyways. Very surreal!

Ah...the mystery of the magical garden is discovered. Infared effect using PS. Originally shot with a D70 Digital SLR. Here is a revised version with what I thought to be a glaring problem that I have attempted to fix...

How did you achieve the infrared look in photoshop? Could you post your original for comparison?

It is rather creepy looking, heh, I think it almost looks like something out of The Ring. Nice shot though!

Channel mixing. Each photo will require different settings to compensate for density and lighting (reflectiveness) but you must go very high in green because the foliage is what makes the most dramatic infared-like effect. For a more realistic infared look, add gaussian blur to the green channel in your RGB window - then reduce the opacity in screen mode. Also some added gaussian noise to the whole thing will finish the "classic" infared B&W appearance.
