Nice shot and amasing building!
Though it is hard to look at due to the large amount of line and pattern making the image quite busy, im not quite sure how you would avoid this being a distraction.
Nice find and nicely taken never the less.
Actually, I'm going to go against the grain and say I actually like the iPod stuff in there. It makes it look like the building is wired into the iPod. Or the iPod shadow person is wired into the building.
Good perspective on this Yoyo. This is certainly a busy scene, but the ipod billboard stabilizes the scene and gives it a point to lock into. Good title as well.
Love this shot, and the way you show us places that we not only may never see, but in ways we might never see them! I would be afraid to get that high.
Yoyo, I believe that this is the kind of image that needs to be printed quite large to be fully appreciated due to the complexity of the patterns but I do enjoy what you have done here, I like the mix of symmetrical and asymetrical structures.
Yoyo, congrats on another great shot! I love this image and I don't feel like it's too busy as some suggested. What I do need to agree with, however, is that I find the Ipod ad to be too distracting. I caught myself staring at it before I even started to explore the rest of the image and to me that makes it too distracting. So while I do like this shot very much, I think it's ultimately hobbled by the fact that advertisers don't want anyone to simply get to look at a beautiful building....

GREAT SHOT YOYO!! I photographed the same place in Hong Kong back in January but on colour film, and at night, looking up, as opposed to down....... basically you did everything that I didn't think to do and your results are far so much more impressive, thanks so much for sharing!!
Hi Herriot,
Thanks a lot for your encouragement. I first visited Langham Place 1 week ago. I also plan do some nightshots. It would avoid the strong light from the outside. I find the place very interesting, especially the small shop arrangement on higher floors. I'll spend more time to study the detail.

My only critique is that I hope you were wearing a safety harnes.
Other than that I like the composition and the way the advertising board blends in with the technicality of the architecture. You have a good eye for architetcture.
