well done, tip of cig is soft but i like it. if you're so inclined, roll your own (make your own) tubes don't have the damn burn stop stuff so setup shots like this require less "stoking"

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

I like this one better. Now if it just had some smoke coming up from the cigarette, Jeff

    Re: Living causes death!

    Thanks.
I kept trying to get some of the smoke but it never shows in the shots.
I might have to grab some of these dead salmon and put them in the freezer for when I proper time and props for setting up.

The one I really want to take is in my mind and will probably never happen...but then I'm twisted.

A horrible image if there ever was one but not necessarily a "bad" one.

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan

    Re: Living causes death!

It is a nice idea and you composed it well. My only suggestion would be to get a fish with a cleaner eye.

    Thanks overbeyond and Greg.
I agree about the eye but couldn't figure a way to clean it. Should have used its other side I guess.

Well yes, you could say life is a terminal sexually transmitted disease.
But I think that, like "Living causes death", is a viewpoint a little too extreme :blush2:

I agree with the comment on the fish's eye, and the smoke from the cigarette.
    The image concept is good.

    Re: Living causes death!

    Thank you, Paul!
We could get into a long philosophical discussion, I'm sure.
I also think that death causes life as the fish bodies add nutrients to the streams, which feed the young when hatched. True of all species I think.
