I think your attempt worked, as least for me it did!

I see the graininess, and wonder if that was intended with either your choice of film, or is that just "noise" Either way, In my opinion, I think it adds to the image.

this image brings up thoughts of being "caged" and the bars make me think of prison... not that i've ever stayed in one...lol.. but it almost acts as a "metaphor" for me of being imprisoned.... I like this image.

Good composition, interesting shadows and light, and also like the little "HOT" sign.
    Good eye!

Not sure if its because i can't view the photo full screen ( have to scroll down) or what, but i also have the feeling of wanting some of the top portion cropped off....

This is the greatest abstract that I have seen in a long time. My comment may not be helpful but I wouldn't change a thing about the picture.

The texture really add a lot to the picture and the angle create a nice tension.

    kudos

I like this photograph alot too, the shadows of the bar make me really concentrate on the image to try and figure out what the light is being projected onto. I agree that the texture of the image adds, no detracts.

Hi Clicker , i too had that thought of cropping off some of the top portion but in the end i retained it cos i wanted to have a good proportion of the dark corners to keep our attention focus in the center where the shadows are and having the being 'caged' feeling ... nevertheless your attention given to this image is greatly appreciated .. Cheers !! ;)
