    Lady Liberty In Pink

This is from that Washington trip. I did some cropping and horizontal fixing to make it more interesting than the original. Opinions, of course, anticipated.
BTW, I was going for a bit of humor in this shot.

I noticed after posting that the right crop was a little tight. This should be a little better.

What I like: Interesting subject with potential.
What I would look into (technically): the horizon is tilted and needs straightened. The Capitol building has some lens fringing / aberration (I think) which should be corrected. There are no blacks in the image - correcting the levels may help with that. More contrast and slightly brighter may work as well. Finally, I am not sure who one would go about this, a little bit more blue in the sky.

Out of curiosity -what was the lady doing? Shining pinkness on the capitol? That would be funny.

You know, I did correct the horizon, but now I see I went too far the other way. Thanks.

It was a line of people being filmed. Each pink umbrella had a letter that spelled something I couldn't read from behind. She was the most interesting person (from the back anyway). Totally agree on the sky as well. I'm not sure what lens fringing is. And I am a bit disappointed with the color as well.
