    Kinda spooky

    Playing around with a candle and slow shutterspeed.

    What do you think of the effect ?

    lol you were trying to write your name wernt ya James??? BUSTED LOL Cool shot I would wonder what all the possibilitys of this style of photography could be ??? Multiple candles? Many people in a field with two candels each??? All writeing their names perhaps? Neato keep up the good work! Oh by the way Film or Digital?

    potential here, good idea. I think this is ok photography as art type thing and I can see you getting the hang of this and doing more. You might even consider doing a series of work based on this approach to your creativity.

    A Picasso in the making?

    This is a good start at the art of light writing. Picasso played around with drawing in light on film.

    Its fun to see if you can draw images as well. One can create a photo signature doing this and then superimpose it as your signature of future photos.

    If you continue with these, I look forward to seeing some of the results.

    Didn't Picasso do that picture of the bull in like 3 seconds?! I have that picture kicking around somewhere. Great shot by the way. I tried something along the same lines with a dark room and a laser pointer, you can get some crazy results!
