    It would have achieved a better result if only that some light fall onto the main subject (letterbox) ... Interesting framing tho .

    Tom, i also like your framing here. It goes along way into bringing a ordinarysubject into an interesting vision. Tow points to improve this; First, as suggested already, having more or stronger lighting falling into the foreground or at least highlighting the box would have been great ( you may be able to pull out a bit in PS) and second, I would have liked to have seen this shot from a slightly lower vantage point. That would bring the peak of the litter box up over the wooded rail and create a more 3 dimensional impact. I find the bg very interesting and the lower vantage point would also bring a bit more of it to the scene. Those are merely suggestions for improving, but i like how you have captured this as it is.

    I accept your criticism concerning the light on the box and I shall remedy this should I choose to print this.
    You are right Gary about the peak of the box being lost in the rail but I never honestly noticed this.
