    Foxglove from saturday shoot

Here is a photo I shot at the local park saturday morning. The color was realy good so I tried to captue it in this shot.

Please let me know how I can improve on shots like these as I am adding many to my portfolio and want them to be first class.

S3 set at ISO 160 28-85 Nikon lens

    Thanks for the input!

pretty sweet, the only thing I'd say to improve it was to make sure that you have all of those flowers in the shot (we're missing a significant portion of one). Besides that it seems great, nice shot

I like it. The tough things about close-ups/macros seem to be the area behind it. You can't always get the best angle, so you have to be creative, and I think you got it good. You should see the background of alot of my shots. You find the nicest macros in the worst areas!

The texture and color are very nice in this shot. The one thing that bothers me is the one blossom on the right that is cut off at the edge of the frame. It would have been a stronger image for me if nothing was cut off or maybe if it was cut off on both sides.
