    Just a Crow...

I shot this today spot-metered on the sky to create a silhouette. It turned out to have almost no color, so I converted it to b&W and cropped it a bit. Tell me what you think.

i think i like it, haha. and that's about all i can say. its either way too plain and kind of boring, or the simplicity works wonders here. i haven't quite made up my mind. b&w was definitely the right choice, though.

    Hello,

I personally like this shot. The lightning seems flat but I still think that the overall effect is interesting. I definately agree with Heath about the eerie mood of the picture which I enjoy.

In a perfect world, I would have liked to see more of the tree but I do realize that tracking the crow and framing the tree in the composition must not be exactly obvious.

    regards

    Seb

I think this is a very interesting shot - I especially like how the shape of the tree mimicks the shape of the bird's wing...kind of like he's chasing or following a big ugly "tree bird"....but seriously that's what first caught my attention - the similarity of shapes....keep shooting.
