    Iwo Jima Memorial again.

Last week I posted some shots of the Iwo Jima Memorial. After reviewing the advice I got here and thinking about what I am trying to do I went back this morning for some new views.

This is the link to last weeks post Iwo Jima Memorial

The first shot is the rising sun reflected in the base of the memorial.
The second shot was taken before the sun rose.
In the third shot you can just make out the first rays of the morning sun reflecting off the soldiers and the letters in the base.
The fourth shot is again the first rays of the sun highlighting the detail of the soldiers.

Better? Worse? What do you think?

I like your other ones, but these are VERY Strong. See about submitting these to the USMC vet mags.
Do you have one like # 3 with the focus on the figures instead of the base?
I really like the color in #1 nd the mix of cool and warm lighting bringing out the texture in #4.

Yes but I am not satisfyed with the lighting on the figures. I like the idea but plan to try this shot again to see if I can do better.
