I understand the title, but the rest of the image leaves me kinda flat. Horizon and sign are just about in the middle of the frame. I would of liked a bit of whimsy on the sign, maybe something like "NO SWIMMING" would of helped the shot. Not being able to read the sign at all is a -. The sky has little no interest with the exception of the distant birds. The snow is blown out and looks soft. The water has nice texture as well as the snow streaks make a nice effect. Sorry, but the image just doesn't do it for me.

I like this AE. Strong geometric composition and a very "fine art" feel to it.

Something in the background more eyecatching (like the birds coming closer) and the sign a bit more right off center would make it more interesting, the "fine art" exposure is a good choice.

I like the simplicity of this shot. I had to squint to see the birds in the bg, if they were more prominent, it might help even more.

I dont think you intended it that way AE but to me this looks like a single digit gesture to the rule of thirds, and I find it fascinating because of this.

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

Personally I like it but do think you could lose most of the top to just above the sign, kinda cool I can't read it a little mystery there.
