    Inside the Fireplace

    I was a cool one here last night, so my wife put one of those firelogs in the fireplace . Could not resist taking a few pictures of the flames .

    Personally, I think including the fireplace itself to frame the fire would have been stronger, I just don't feel this is interesting enough as it is. IMO

    I know what you mean , but i would have had to move some furniture to get a good shot maybe next time i light up the fireplace i can get some more pictures.

    I agree with Gary. The flames are nice, but the framing and overall darkness of the rest of the photo makes it pretty one dimensional. Maybe moving back a bit and getting more of the mantle would help?
