    I-Robot (image attached)

I found this building look so much like a robot that I tried to capture it on film for all to see. How can I improve on this?

    Hi Bajan,

Great colors and nice concept for a composition -- the sky is just very complementary. I also like your repetition and variation in shapes.

I feel, however, that it is a tad dark and soft. There also appears to be a little lens distortion on the right/left side verticals. I think these can be corrected a little if your focus is good in your hi-res version.

A great pattern! The colors work perfectly, yet I wouldn't mind a tad more saturation. Great symmetry and very well composed and nice eye!

I agree, nice colors and symmetry. But distorted. Were you pointing the camera up towards it? Cause that's what it looks like. Is this something you can go back to?

    Bajan,

I like this a lot made me chuckle when I first sae it and I thought I'd responded to it.

    I love the colours.

The only thing I would change is possibly msk out the item on the left bottom just to give it that extra symmetry

Yes I can go back and will go back to this and shoot it again, I didn' t have much time (because I was teaching someone some basics) but I found that the local university [www.cavehill.uwi.edu] is a gold mine for interesting compositions. I'll to back with tripod in hand and really have a go at this and many other interesting places i found on campus!
