Hope your not tired of my Rocky Mountain pictures yet...

    Since here's a few more...

Perhaps I'll make it too my Black Canyon of the Gunnison pictures sometime this week :P

The first is Chasm Falls. The second is Copeland Falls.

The third I'd really like people's opinion of... I snuck this one on the way to Dream lake when my mom was preoccupied taking her own picture.

The last... I don't know, I like it but don't like it, ya know? It feels like something's off or missing to me. It was a small lake on the continental divide down Trail Ridge Road.

    Thanks all!

    Cara,

I like #3 and #4 (bottom) the best. The third is neat in that it tells a story that your mom is shooting a scene. The only part that is disappointing is that what she is shooting, obviously the mountain peak, is partially obscured by trees.

The bottom shot has very nice color, a nice "V" shape to the background, and nice color variation int he sky and clouds. Seems like the sun is blocked just enough so that the water is nice and rich. Not sure what that white stuff is in the bottom right (Looks like ice, ha).

The top shot has some interesting aspects but a little too much going on. Number 2 has a decent subject, but was taken from a very pedestrian angle (looks like a snapshot). Next time try more from the sides and even from above if possible.

Btw, Nice how you make a story out of it. - GB

Hi there...I've enjoyed seeing your pics that you've posted the last few days. My favorite in this group is the bottom picture. Echoing a little bit what GB said...the sky and the mountain have a beautiful shape here. And the color of the sky is very nice against the clouds.
The only part I'm not crazy about is the ice and little bit of rocks in the bottom righthand corner. I think it detracts a bit from the rest of the pic. Other than that, I really like it.
