Nice shot! the horizon is awesome...actually a shot or crop of only the water and the clouds in the horizon will look great.

I'll be honest, this is the best smooth color saturation I have seen in a long time.

    Re: hilltop

Great scenery and the color is very good, with the sky and water especially noticeable with the subtle changes that separate them.
This shot looks much bigger BIG so I hope you have posted a larger image in your gallery.
The thing I do notice when I look at it in a larger format is that the foreground is not sharp.
You shot at f/8 and maybe f/11 or 16 would have given more dof as to me a shot like this should be sharp throughout.
    Keep Shooting!

Very nice shot!!! The one thing that I would suggest is to crop the bottom off up to about 2/3 of the way up from the bottom left corner to the shore line and eliminate some of the grass, Jeff

    Very nice work!

With f-stops, you have to determine what is optimal, in terms of sharpness and clarity, for a given lens.

The 60yos may have out walked you -- but I bet they didn't outshoot you! Very nice. Crop out some of that grass and it's a hanger.
