Halloween cemetary

Does this picture make anyone feel sorta creepy. A few friends of mine liked it. What do you think?

Hi,
I like the composition and the noisey, haziness of it. My only real criticism would be the B&W conversion, as I think the graves in the background blend in to the grass. You could try using the channel mixer technique if you haven't already. It's quite well documented on here! I also think a full moon in the background would be nice ;)

Other than that, a nice spooky shot.

Thanks. I'll play around with it some more. I think this was a much better picture in its original size, because I added something to it that dosen't really show up in this small size. I hope somone finally sees it(her).

Also I have photoshop and wonder if there is an easy way to resize my shots to the correct size for this forum. Right now I am Using Free Transform and then cropping them down, hoping I get to the right size. Takes a little time.

Good subject and I like the poetential it seems to have, but the quality of the image is very undoing here, I feel. Also, I'm trying hard to see it/her that you added but just can't figure it out from this image.

In the very center of the picture there is a dark black 'mass' for lack of a better term. I dont know what caused it in the original. If you look at the bright colored stone on the left side of the picture, in the foreground, and keep looking back behind it I added a picture of my wife, very dim and translucent, trying to keep it in fitting with the picture. Her head blends in with the dark trees too much.

A couple people have seen it, it shows up better in the original.

Hindey mentioned it might need a full moon. Here's the best I could come up with on the spot. Also, I darkened everything a little bit. It seemed like it was getting a little too bright looking to me. Afterall, it was taken in the middle of the day. What do you think?

Even with the improved size I think the quality of the image is lacking slightly. How about waiting for the real full moon and taking the shot with a tripod and a looong exposure? Good concept that could work well with the right execution. For me though, it really is the quality of the image (i.e. graininess) that's now letting the image down; even though I said I originally liked it! I think the larger image looses some of the mystique of the trimmed down image.

Love the full moon, even if it is slightly aspherical ;)

I like the first image better, because like Hindey pointed out, It is less grainy, but the grain that it does have helps the mood of the photo, too much and it looks like a photo that was found in someone's basement after having been hidden there for 100 years.... ( which may be what you are going for ) On the first image, I don't like the sky because it looks really really grainy, and kinda makes me think, "fake, fake!" I would like it more if it were less grainy, my votes not in for the moon, it looks way to big and again looks fake

I see the woman you are talking about but she looks pieced in. I much prefer the mysterious black shape in the center of the photo.. Especially if the bottom bell shape of it were thinned to give an impression of legs... ohhhh skeery!
