    Guard Cat

The flower was put there to stop him getting on to the wall. Hah ! stop a cat doing what he wants to do.Might as well try and stop the sun coming up.Comments welcome.

I would crop out a bit of the extraneous brick and whitewall on the right side of the frame, in order to keep eyes focused on the attack kitty in question. Otherwise it's a very good shot. The cat's eyes are really cool looking and the composition is interesting on the whole. Nice one!

You cut off a little too much Bobby. The flower should not be 'touching' the edge of the frame.

I like this Bobby. This is a nice cat shot. Good focus and sharp the setting is interesting. The crop is a bit too much. Just enough off the right side to rid of the peach colored wall

Bob: nearly perfect with that second crop. As noted, I would just crop out the portion on the right. The left side was in good shape from the start I think, maybe just take 10 pixels or so from that side. I don't know about the flower "rule" stated earlier, but in general I think having a little bit of brick to the left of the flower is desirable in this case.

I like the second one, cropped, very much. There is a nice comfy feel to this picture. Very nice composition and very clear!

    Talking One COOL CAT!

Bobby - you did a great job here IMO. I like the original - more perspective. My favorite is the tabby stem on the flower! I love it! Great capture. I also like the different shades/contrast. What equipment did you use.

Very nice photo. Nice kitty too!

Fun pic, - it looks like the flower is tied to his tail, like a bow on a girl's pigtail.

Thanks Liz, just used straight foreward digital camera. You have to be quick where cats are concerned.Adjusted shade and hue in Adobe but it was nearly ok without it.
