    Glowing spring

I had the opportunity to shoot some flowers last week end. I thought that this one came out well (yet too flat) straight out of the camera but I just love what an overlay layer did to it! (then again, thanks for the hint Gary!!!)

Seb... Thats nice. Thats real nice! Very tastefully executed. The greys in your background really show off the flower in the most beautiful way. It's exquisite.

Strong yet very subtle. I like it a lot!
The bottom R corner seems a bit empty, shift the bottom, or maybe the whole, to the right a tad?
What do you think, I'm taking notes.

I feel you breathing down my neck. This is a wonderful photograph. I am impressed with how you have been able to accurately depict the delicate nature of this bloom. Framing bothers me a little but not enough to keep me from enjoying this beautiful flower. Very nicely done Seb.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

    Re: Glowing spring

    Hi guys,

Knight and Shesells: Many thanks for the good words!

Mark: Actually, I feel comfortable with that frame. The thing is that this shot isn't cropped. There is nothing to work with at the left. The only way to crop some of the right while preserving a normal ratio would be to either crop the top and/or the bottom.
I personally do not find the right side to be too empty but I sincerly thank you for voicing your opinion. I'll get back at this kind of shooting later on with different framing.

Old Timer: Thanks for your imput. I'd like to know what is your concern with the framing.
Do you also think that there is too much room at the right?

    regards

    Seb
