    Girls' reflection

This was when my daughter and niece were playing in the water...I liked the way their colors were reflected in the water.

I like the reflection. It has a kewl look to it. I would've prefered seeing the girls entirely from the back as their full bodies have been cut off here.

Keep it as is for me, excellent capture and well spotted.

Just one thing crop a few millimeters off the bottom as there is some grass and blue reflection there that seems at odds with the rest.

Thanks Roger. You're absolutely right about the bottom bit there too.

    Re: Girls' reflection

Would like to see this blown up into a large print, I also like the crop and think that seeing the right hand of both subjects is a really nice addition to the picture, get rid of the offending grass and you have a very relaxing 'summer - feel' end result, thanks for sharing!!

    Re: Girls' reflection

One other point, due to the movement of the water on the right hand side of the frame, the reflection of the skirted figure seems to stop somewhat abrubtly, might be an idea to bring that crop up a little higher when you are removing the discussed grass?

    Many thanks

    Re: Girls' reflection

I, like Nina, would have liked to see a little more symmetry between the reflection and the girls. I probably would have a little bit more of the girls in the picture, but that is just a thought. Otherwords...great capture and as Herriot said...a really nice "Summer feel"...

    Re: Girls' reflection

Thank you Herriot and Ken, for your comments and suggestions.
Herriot, I was playing around with this one last night to crop the grass out at the bottom, and saw what you meant about the reflection of the dress...thanks for bringing that to my attention.
Ken, I can see what both you and Nina mean about the symmetry in this...but with another shot I have that is similar, showing more of the girls doesn't work quite as well for me. I appreciate the thoughts on this though!
