    forth road birdge

    Complete begginer, what some advice on improving the shot - forth road bridge
    taken with a point and shoot digi cam - nikon 3500

    You could do a few little things in Photoshop and have a very nice, moody shot.

    First, rotate the canvas 1 degree clockwise. Then crop the shot just above the black rocky stuff, keeping as much of the left and top as possible. Maybe crop the right just at the "pass" where the mountain dips, just before it rises again.

    Then clone out the "dock" or whatever that thing on the left is.

    voilá, great panoramic shot!

    Thanks for your help , i like how u cloned out the harbout, however in my opinion i think the black stones adds a nice contrast, however i think it needs a crop as not to steal the focus from the bridge and sky

    I'm not at all saying my crop was "right". I stopped and questioned myself whether I really wanted to do that. See, it's just different viewpoints. I like the bridge against the sky, it looks so elegant. But the stones contrast against that. So one shot is saying "elegance" while the other is saying "contrast". I chose the viewpoint as I like to see the world -- simple and elegant. That's just me.

    i totally agree 1 is more elegant and one more contrast. thanks for your input and feedback, it is really helpful.
