Thanks for the comments - I'm still undecided about this shot - the limbs going out of the picture doesn't bother me but it feels empty which is possibly where the mood comes in. I was actually out trying to find the deer that can be found here sometimes but they were hiding from the weather.

The yellow light is what was there which is why in some parts I took the photo. The drizzle was allowing just enough light permeated the canopy to bring up the green/yellow in the Forest.

This is take at ISO 1600 using a 100-400mm lens (100mm) at 1/15th F8 hand held.

Just checked the original and the colours are as the camera saw them. Tried adding blue and didn't like the outcome made it look very cold with a minor adjustment. It was that sort of day that I took 4 photos and couldn't be bothered to unpack the tripod.
