    Flowers

Took this a while ago and came across it today while I was looking through pictures. Lemme know what you think.

    Re: Flowers

i'd maybe crop the bottom 1/3?

Like the softness of the back ground and how it draws you eye to the flower just right of center

I also like how the attention is concentrated on the flower on the top right 1/3

Thanks to both of you for commenting.

@slowerthansnot - bottom third crop to get rid of the bottom most flower. I was going to try and crop it, but every time I did the proportions weren't right or I seem to cut right through one of the flowers. If you wanna take a stab at it feel free to.

    @armando_m - Thanks a bunch!

    Re: Flowers

Not bad at all, Eric. I like how they stand out well from the darker and non distracting bg.
i would crop a slight bit from both sides to rid the flowers that are off the edges.
    Nicely done

    Thanks a bunch Gary!

The only thing that is hard with this shot is too figure out where I need to crop it. I know I needed to, just couldn't figure out where. I took out the the half cut on on the right side as well as a tad on the left. Only thing bothering me now is the one on the top and I don't know how to get rid of that one without clipping the one that is the focus of the shot.

I may just be a sharpness junkie, but it seems a bit soft to me. Are you applying sharpness in your pp?

@ slowerthansnot - thanks for the edit. I tried to incorporate a little bit of your critique into the one I did just before yours. I like how the flowers lead into the in focus on mine, but I like the feel of yours, and the wider angle.

@n8 - indeed I am. Still think it needs more?

I like this crop, Eric. Its just right. The flower at the top right corner is ok because it helps balance the bunch at the lower end and also frames it up well.

I think sharpening might not do a lot as the image might be originaly a bit soft, but since this is not a macro, and the bunch here looks okk somewhat soft.

The crop is very nice. Well done!

Thanks again Gary. I'm glad you like it. And I now that you mention the balance, I see what you are talking about.

Jeff - Thanks for commenting. I actually like the square crop, other than cropping it, did you do anything else to it?

Yes I did. I adjusted the shadows and highlights and added some sharpening, Jeff

Well thank you. I don't have PS, so its hard for me to really get edit things. I have paint.NET, which gets most of what i want done, but lacks on certain things. Again, thanks.
