I really need a macro lens to produce a crisper image for these kinds of shots, and it takes a lot to make a flower shot an original shot, but what do you think?









That last is my favorite, the rest are just meh.

I think the first one is very good! Not so sure about the other three, Jeff

i think the second one has the most potential, shoot vertical, increase dof just a tad to get all the stamen/pistols in focus and it would be great.

Grandpaw - The first is the clearest, I just don't like the subject very much.

Dylan - After learning more about DoF (took that picture when I first got my camera) I was thinking the same thing, the angle is a good idea as well. Too bad I will never see that particular flower again.
