This is FANTASTIC!! Those yellow eyes just make the picture! A few questions though
How did
1. u get so close?
2. focus so fast as to get the main focus on those eyes?

I caught him as he was about to land on a telephone pole. I don’t know why he got so close to me but he was so close I couldn’t fit him in the frame. He didn’t even completely land as I think my pointing the lens at him and snapping away made him change his mind about the spot. I was using Ai-Servo with all 9 points active on my 20D and more or less got lucky on the focus here. I never expected him to get so close to me. Sometimes you just get lucky.
