    Re: An Autumn Morning

I like the overall feel of the photo - I think it conveys the sunrise message very well. I think the curves of the horizon are nice as well - much more "dramatic" than what a straight horizon shot would produce. The balance of the left and right side is almost too much - I can't quite decide on which side to concentrate. The sun is almost "hurting my eyes" - could you tone it down a bit - some more orange would be nice (not sure if you shot in RAW). Some other nit-picking - I would remove the airplane streaks, at least the one on top. The sun rays are great - but the hexagonal flare could go. Really nice, though.

That tree is positioned wonderfully, you could almost cut this thing in half and still be ok. I'm really taken by how the rows of soil are lit. How much pp was put in to this and how much is just the new body?

I have to agree with both of the previous posts. I also feel that the contrails and hex flair could be removed. I would also loose the entire left side up to the end of the green knoll, it distracts and serves little purpose to improve your capture.
I love the feel of the shot, the strong placement of the tree and the light play on the field rows. Real nice image.

Very cool extreme sun shot. I like it. Having done this recently, I know what is up with it. I would not change much except for to move the sun a bit to the left.

Looks like a frame out of a film scene. very cinematic in that sense. I like what you've achieved her. Some how i enjoy the extreme left side more than the right when it comes to colour. that clean blue is much more appealing than the 'murkier' orange on the right.

    Re: An Autumn Morning

Dark and moody again I see I think this one has interesting composition in that the placement of the tree - and sun - are at a nice place in the image. The field looks almost like the tops of buildings in a city. Several things hurt the photo though, #1 being the flare. But even then, the shape of the sun isn't aesthetic and the contrails seem more of a blemish than anything. You could remove them in PP, but then I think it may be a tad too plain? When there's this many issues, maybe it's best to turn the page.

Get rid of that one splotchy flare and *perhaps* the contrails and you're cool. Both fixes are easy.

Agree with Liban's comment that this looks like a frame out of a movie. A really beautiful shot. I especially like the details in the grass.
