    Good exposures, Don.
Now you'll have to start watching stuff like not chopping the ends of Joyce's chair off.
I like the third shot best and you got good focus on the cat's eyes.
    Keep Shooting!

I think these would look better with a warmer white balance setting-but that could wait till later.

If nothing else the quick shutter release is going to be a big plus for your style of city photography from the bus.
    No, I DON'T need that.

Good shots! I went from a Kodak P880 to a Nikon D80 myself and it is a whole new world. I am sure you will enjoy the up grade, Jeff

Thanks guys. Yes, I am enjoying the camera very much. The fact that the camera has secret powers which will be revealed in later explorations--really turns me on. The kodak had no secrets like that.

Hey Don, Great choice. My wife has one and it is a fine Camera...
and from what I hear it has better noise control than the D40X.
I love the wagon pullers, it would go well in the capture a stranger thread, infact all of these except the cap would go well there.

Great shots from your new camera, I'm sure you'll have many more great shots from the little beast of a body. It really does take some sharp shots for all the bigger it is, I really like your shot in front of her home.

I know you are going to have some more great shots from the new camera, congrats on the upgrade.
