    Very nice Alex. I like the first one just like it is and on the second I wish for just a bit more dof so that the leftmost parts would be in focus as well without losing any of the yellow parts being in focus. Great color.

    Interesting shots. I like your use of DOF but I think I would like it better if the in focus flower was a bit more in focus. The color and bokeh are very nice.

    On the second shot I would like it better if the tip of the flower was in focus. Again the DOF is nice and the color is very good. One other small thing is the hot spots on the petals of the flower. They tend to attract my attention away from the in focus part of the picture.

    Thanks Greg, Spike, Chunk for your comments. Yeah, the DoF is a bit difficult here, will try to accomodate this next time. Thanks again.

    While both of these are beautiful, I agree with everyone else with the dof problems. They're great as is but to push them to perfection, try it again with the whole stamen(?) in focus.
