A VERY LITTLE froggy! Very cool shot.

Excellent, love the title! Sharp where it counts and I like the expression on your little frog's face!

    Thanks for sharing

Ay, mira que lindo. What a cutie. I'd kiss that lil froggy if I could. My only critique here is that the colors appear a bit flat. That is fixable, other than that I really like. Is that lil booger on your finger? How'd you manage to do that and take the shot? (If that is how it happened?)

Nina! So good to have you back! Hope you've just been too busy having fun this summer to post!
You can pull my (frog) leg anytime! .
So glad that you mention that its flat. There a noticeable diff from photoshop and what I see when I post. Tried to fix it several times. When the fix worked at all, it was only for a few hours. My lame conclusion; screw it!
I spotted him in the yard. Went in the house, got the camera and set it to iso 800.( Iso 800 quality is usually good enough for me. Sometimes if I feel that I have gotten a good shot I will change to iso 400 or 200 and shoot some more.) set the flash to comp -1.7, man focus at nearest point, picked him up and waited till he settled, moved my hand back and forth to get focus and shot away.
    Its actually my left thumb.
    Thanks for posting,
    Mark.

Nice photo. If it were mine, I would isolate the frog more by cropping and blurring the finger in photoshop. I think you want the viewer to think of him as being in nature.

More like working a whole lot, but thanks for noticing. I am so impressed that you actually caught the lil feller & he stood long enough to pose for you. I like that your finger is in the pic. Makes for a more interesting shot for me. Love it!

I like this as well, Mark. Also think your finger in the shot is part of the appeal here. i agree about a slight saturation boost and maybe a tad more light. Great framing up here too. Good work
