    Love this shot - maybe because I especially love portraits fo "old" people, where there is some "age" in their faces. The look on his face is great, there is a smile and the eyes are not in the dark - would love to have a bigger smile so you could see his teeths (or no teeths!!). I also like that you have made it black and white. I don't know about the movement of the hand nor the background, maybe it needs to be a bit more blurred! Then there is this tree in the corner - no, it can stay there, doesn't distract me at least. I feel like you have captured the person as whole - body and soul. But I am though quite new to all this photography

    I am very intrigued by this shot. The expression you captured is great. The DOF is really wonderful- just enough to add more intrigue to the shot without being overbearing. Additionally, your subject pops right out of the picture. One question- his eye? Natural or was that from the camera?

    I like it, i love the expression on the face and through the entire shot, it seems a little dark to me, but i still love it great picture

    His natural expression in front of the camera makes this a lovely portrait ... in addition i love the tonality of this image as well ...
