    Early Blossoms

I kind of forgot about this one, I was just setting things up waiting for the sunrise and fooling around with fill flash.

Now it looks pretty good to me.

BTW if anyone doesn't know, that is the Tidal Basin with the Jefferson Memorial in the background. Cherry Blossom Week (which is actually 2 weeks now).

I love the background but the flash on the branches seems to dark on the left side. I realize you probably only had one flash without a diffuser so that is understandable. Would have made for a great HDR though.

Another absolutely fantastic shot MB1. Beyond that, I don't think I can find anything to suggest.

    Great shot!

I, also, would put this one at the top of your many outstanding DC photos. - TF

Beautiful colors of dawn. You wonder if the coup flash selected is unwilling or causal?
I like the lighting part of the foliage, it seems almost a beacon pointing toward the dawn to help the day to be born.
