Excellent photo the colours are terrific and the sharpness incredible. I love how the bee and the flower stand out from the background - how far are you from the bee and do you ever get stung?

Oh, probably 2" to 4" away. Never get stung. Bees don't seem to be much of a problem for me - nothing like yellow jackets (which are not bees). I have a bush - not what you see - at home called Ceanothus which is a huge shrub to small tree with fuzzy blue flowers. Bees just love it. I'll stand next to it for minutes at a time with my coffee in hand and watch dozens of bees buzz from flower to flower.

No zoom on that photo. That Canon has no macro, so I can get no closer than 1.9"
