I couldn't get the window in the 1/3 but got it pretty close. Would have to go beyond end of car to get 1/3 on right but its not attractive.
Does it work for you? I admit I rather like it.

frog - I rather like it too. Lots of luscious colours and textures there and your PP seems spot on. It is fine as it is, I think, but if you wanted to get the window off the centre, I think you could crop it just to the left of the word "BUNK" without upsetting the balance of the picture. Nothing we photographers like more than rust and peeling paint!

Great photo. I like the window in the middle. I think that the rule of thirds should maybe be the suggestion of thirds. Cropping to the left of bunk will only take the window a little bit out of the centre and that would make the framing seem awkward to me.

I think I might have cropped just behind the right panel maybe an inch or so. and would add a bit to the left

lovely textures and the rest just brings out some nice touches of red. I'm not sure about the centeredness of the door though. It's a very graphic shot, and it's fitting to have all kinda type faces in there.

If I added even 1/4 inch on the left, it would show beyond end of car;. The quarters were rather close due to a deep, water filled ditch behind me and not having my wide angle on at the time.

Well seen frog.
I would suggest a crop from the left of and below the word Bunk. This would bring the window a little off center, which I would prefer, without loosing any important text or bits.
But it is good shot without any changes.

Frog, nice eye on this one. I wouldn't worry about the 1/3rd for the window as the strength of the rest of the shot - the colour, rust, signs. Very nice. S
