Obviously, it will never be exactly like x-processed film, but it's something I've been playing with.

If I'm correct, Adina is talking about cross processing film. For instants, shoot a roll of E-6 slide film, and develop it using the C-41 process like you use for print film. It gives the image a very unique look.

You're correct. You either process slide film as c-41, or c-41 as slide film.
