    Very cool shot!

I'm not sure if i like the "grain" at the top...
But I am sure that I love the abstract quality of this photo!
I find it to be very intriguing (spellcheck please!) lol.

    It makes me wonder...
"is this one person, or two?"
I don't even want to know, because its the mystery that keeps me enthralled!

Compositionally: I would crop up from the bottom to get rid of that black object, that is interrupting the bottom border.

Good capture, you should post this in the art forum. IMO, it qualifies...

A little grainy in spots but otherwise the composition / idea is excellent. Almost looks like you could've shot a picture of a theatre screen or large television... kind of has an odd appeal in a way.

i think it looks great, the very very blue stage is a little wierd but nothing you could do about that

i personally think the grain in the lights adds a depth to the picture

man, this is so cool! I love everything about it: colors, composition, blurred motion. Don't change a thing.

This image is very beautiful, the form the swirling dancer has created is spectacular, It really is a ‘piece of art’. With no competition it is a 5star image!.

    Thanks for inspiring me.

Great looking artsy image. Looks like a painting in a way. I like the black under the green stage . .gives a bit more depth and dimension to it. Just the way it is woprkswell The grain works nicely to give it a feel of being printed on a textured fine art rag paper. good work

    Hello Tuna,

I think that this shot is brilliant and I wouldn't change a thing about it either. The blue lightning, the texture and of course the motion blend to create a memorable piece of art.

I don't want to spoil the magic but I would be interested to know about the circumstances behind this picture, the actual event shot, the hardware, the settings...

    best regards

    Hi Seb.

I shot this with a Nikon FM2, 85mm lens using a monopod. Shot on Fuji NPZ800 film, the shutter was set to 1/15 and the aperture would have been around f4 or 5.6.
