    Crop help ...

Is this shot salvagable with a crop? I've tried a few vertical crops but couldn't get anything I really liked. Unfortunately, I didn't have many options when it came to composition. I had one lens (wide angle) and to get anything better I would have had to stand in the middle of a busy street.

I have others from this day of the sunset and the beach, but I like how this one turned out.

Except for the one tree smack-dab in the middle of the frame.

First I tried a crop of left but then you lose the signal so then I tried a crop of right and kept the signal and got rid of that car. Neither ends up standard size/proportions but I think the first is square anyway.

I like Frog's first one and Grandpaw's, except not sure about the squareish frame. And I like jkriminger's the most probably. Only thing wrong with it is that it cuts the sky in half.

This is one of those shots that I didn't think much of while I was shooting. My options were severely limited, but it would have been worth the effort to at least try to find a better angle.

I tend to go with standard crops. The one I cropped is done with 10x8 landscape crop, Jeff
