Really well done, CF. The colors, shapes and textures all fall into a very handsome little package with your perfect composition. No crop, adjustment. . .just done right.

    Greg/GB/Gary:

Thanks so very much for the great comments. I have been looking at this shot now for 4 days, read all the kind words and feel like it is one of the very best I have ever done. Funny how that happens. I was walking back to my car after 3 hours of a photo shoot, camera in the bag. I was done. But I literally walked into this shot. I walked around it, kneeled over it, lined it up then took a couple shots and didn't think much more about it. Not until I got home and saw it on the "big screen" did I realize what I had. Thanks again. I truly appreciate the support. GB, thanks also for the links to the art exhibits. I will seriously consider it.

    Aging,

Well, to be honest, I had hoped. But, there are many fabulous shots posted here everyday which makes that decision very hard. I take great satisfaction from the frequency of the visits to the post and the many kind words left. Thanks for your contributions and for even suggesting it was worthy of a Sticky. I appreciate it.

What a wonderful surprise. I had not logged on in a couple days so this is a great surprise. Thanks very much for all the kind works and for the "thumbs up." I really appreciate it.

Nothing to add but a big thumbs UP and my atta boy to the rest of the comments. Is this one in your gallery? If so I must have missed it.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

I definitely agree with everyone about what a nice shot this one is. I am always curious to see abstracted images of mundane subjects. The abstraction adds an artistic flair that is hard to ignore.
