Well done overall. I really like the antennea on the side, and the overall geometry. Unfortunately, I feel the photo is missing a stronger subject, like perhaps a plane flying out through the end of the cloud. Without that, it can only be so good. But sometimes you have to take what's in front of you and not wait for the perfect photo (which only come every 5-10 yrs ).

I like to look at the picture before reading the comments so as to avoid being influenced by others. I thought the spectacular cloud formation was the center of attention with the antenna serving as a nice frame and scale. I wish the foreground was not so dark as the detail in the hillsides of San Francisco being houses might have made for a stronger, perhaps ominous feeling. I like it over all. Nice job.
I think this is a good image and the clouds are pretty spectacular. Over all I feel the lighting is good but i wonder if including more of the foreground would add depth and as CF pointed out it would give a more ominous feel. Nicely done.
the cloud is impressive enough to be the subject i think.. the tower detracts from it.. just a straight landscape outline would work better.. that way u know the cloud is the subject and dont kinda get confused as to what u should be looking at..
i like clouds.. especially menacing loooking ones..

Good point about the tower. I guess it can be confusing which subject it is. Less is more..

Costal Flyer, Love your work. I know it's a long shot, but we are planning to have a gathering in SF with Photo John sometime this month to shoot San Francisco at night. If you can try to make it.
