    Chinatown Lanterns

    I posted this in Viewfinder with other shots from Chinatown. I'm putting this one here for critique. Comments always appreciated. Thanks.

    The photo is sharp and well lit but the group of lanterns is too small to make it really stand out. It looks like an awning but no more. There is no gee whiz here.

    Yes really

    i must agree wit Don here, and further say that i think you would have been better off focusing on the street rather than the lights, since I really like the colors and detail in your shot....its just that the street would have gotten better reactions (from me anyway)

    On the personal level however, it does nothing as it is....

    Oh and the top 2 lanterns (top center and top left) do bother me a bit, the way they're cut...
