I took these this summer in the Outer Banks, I'd like to hear your thoughts.

I took the sunrise and bird pictures maybe 4-5 minutes apart. I was trying to line up the birds infront of the sunrise so I could get both in the same shot but the wind wouldn't allow it.

Thanks for the comment, is there anything I should work on?

RedWings, you shoot very much like I do, I mean, the subjects you choose and perspectives you use. But of all of them I love the birds the best. The picture agitates me in a very good way; I feel like I'm part of the picture, I can feel the movement and hear the fluttering and I almost want to duck out of the way just looking at it! Only thing I'd change would be to crop out that tiny bit of bird at the very top. Just don't need that there.

I like the sunrise second best. The other two are interesting, but if they were mine (they are awfully similar to some I've taken) I'd probably save them in my "second best" file. They're very good, but they're not as strong as the others, IMHO.

I'm thinking that if you had a person leaning against the railing of the lighthouse it would improve the status of the shot into the "best" file.
