    Capilano's trees

Here is a second picture from my recent journey in Alberta and British Columbia.

I like it as it is. Perhaps because of the memories that it recalls, thus external opinions would be especially useful. I have tought that a cropping could enhance the picture so here is one take. Any advice is welcome.

    regards

I like your shots here as well. i like the uncropped version best. I like the added element of the branch of pine needles hanging down from the tree on the left. Great mist and haze going on as you look deeper into the bg. I like it as it is, Seb. Good shot

I like the cropped version. It gives a more elongated look to the scene which complements the trees - they don't feel as cut-off.

For me, the primary focus of the photo is the misty mood it portrays. Personally, I would slightly darken in levels - which would probably cause a need to slightly dodge the trees to bring back the detail. Do a very slight "s" adjustment in curves. And a slight sharpening. With all corrections done in small increments, I think this photo would get a little jump to a different level without losing the mood.

I think what the image lacks is the bottom part of the trees.

    Cool

I prefer the cropped image best. It's kind of naturally framed by the trees with the mist and trees being the focal point. I like both of them though. Being able to see the bottom of the trees would have been good. Well done!!
    KEEP SHOOTIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
