the picture dosent do much for me it isnt realy a great shot mabey if you were zoomed further on the cactus, u need to definately crop the sky, i will do it for u here u go
Avoid to place the main subject in the center of your photo, unless you have a good reason. I would definitely crop the sky. Avoid streching your images, again, only if it really makes the image stronger.
More depth and a close-up would have made the image more interesting.
