    Brown University Night Photo...

Here's a building at Brown University I took last night at around midnight. Settings were:

    ISO 200
    f14
    65 seconds of exposure
    -5 for exposure compensation
    65mm focal length

I think it came out looking like a painting. What do you think?

I like the color and depth of this photo. However, I think a stronger composition could have been done. The tree in the foreground really throws the picture off. The columns and door at that building look very interesting in the photo and would be a very strong image at night without that tree blocking them. A few feet in front of that tree and you will have a very nice picture.
    Cheers.

Thanks for the critique. As an aside, I'll say that I took this photo from outside a gated area looking into the campus, and was probably the closest I was "allowed" to be. Interesting, the scene captured my eye as a result of seeing that tree next to the columns, and thought it would make it a more interesting shot. Different strokes for different folks.
