First of all, congrats on a nice shot. I like well executed images of subjects like this.
This one is close.. The lighting is OK but perhaps a bit too intense. The composition is some ways is very engaging. Where I think it needs work is where the top of the bottom almost touches the top of the frame, making it feel boxed in and almost a mistake. The wine itself (in the glass) is too dark and without detail: the 'good stuff' should be very well lit and invite the user to look at it. You may need a soft supplemental light to do this. Finally, the technical execution, while not bad, isn't as good as it needs to be, as the top of the bottle is fading out, the wine in the glass is tilting a bit, and there's a lot of empty white space on the left side at the expense of clipping off the more interesting shadows on the right. Close, really close ... just think composition and lighting. Watch that the bottle behind the glass doesn't get so close to the glass too.

Besides what Greg talked about I would like to see all of the label on the bottle and also think it needs some more light on the background to make the bottle stand out and give it more depth, Jeff
