Single image HDR - does it stay close to reality? What improvememnts would you suggest both in shooting and post processing? It was a very ugly sky day. - Thanks, TF
EDIT - One thing is why did the HDR really blow out some of the street lights??? - TF

The person looks blurry to me, maybe from the different exposures? May they are not? But if so you could take them out of all of the exposures but the one that exposed them correctly. Other than that it is a wonderful shot. Great colors and lighting. Nice work.
I am like Barney Fife, I have a gun but Andy makes me keep the bullet in my pocket..
Terry I may be in a minority here but I very much prefer the version you posted in viewfinder. The water here looks dirty and murky IMO this detracts from an idyllic scene.

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...
Looks great from Here. Reminds me of Fall and why this is my favorite season for shooting. Great colors.

Well that depends, Hminx. If he's going for an idyllac facade that's being undermined by corruption, it's a very artsy shot. If he's going straight for architecture, I would agree, some burning and dodging in places and then applying some blue filter to that area would probably help it. In fact, you could also go with the filter that posterizes or uses paint strokes to give the shot a more painted, surreal look. That'd be fun.
