    The Big Game

Well, not really...5 year olds don't have big games, they don't even keep score.
I wanted to know how I did on these. I was trying to get a few good pics of my niece. This proved rather difficult with an all manual camera - those little buggers never seem to stand still.
So, critique away and let me know what ya think of these two.
    Cheers.

These are almost strange but I love them. Usually, I am not attracted by sport photography but these clearly aren't the typical shots that we see most of the time. I guess that the fact that they are b&w contribute to make them different (I can't remember the last time that I saw sports shots in b&w) but the key point here clearly is your choices of compositions.

I'd like to see more of these.

In both of them, I would like to see the whole person in the picture not cropped off. Nice shots though and very original,

Thanks Seb. They are kinda of strange as far as sports photos go. With the kids being this young tho it really isn't about the game, its more about being outside running around with your friends. These are really the best photo out of the ten shots I got. I'll see if any of the others maybe interesting and worth posting.

Jared - thanks for the input. I was thinking the same thing but I like the compositions so much that the cropped individuals do not bother me now, especially on the second photo.

    Cheers.
