    Gorgeous Sunset!

I"m a bad date. I was taken to dinner for my birthday at the waterfront cafe and was so distracted by the gorgeous sunset that I had to shoot it!

Okay, this is a very non-technical shot, I just saw this incredible sunset and put my digital Nikon Coolpix 4300 on manual and slowed the shutter and set it on the banister to shoot nice & still while I ripped into my lobster.

I should also mention, I had taken a few other shots on auto and the boats turned out black, so the slow shutter gave them a cool glow!

    Janie,
I would say that all in all, the date was a success. This image is very good. you were right on with the slow shutter and great that you had something to rest the camera on that allowed you to keep the frame as it was.Excellent mood and glow, framing and all that. Nothing to change here. Well done. I would only suggest cleaning up the grain a bit with ps or whatever it is you use, just to clean up the noise in the shot.
please do not edit and repost my photos

Thanks for the review! The noise, I think, came from downing the quality for posting - when I print them I print from the PNG (which is awsome quality) and I don't see the noise until it's uploaded.
