The Beach on a cloudy day (I love the clouds in this)

I wish the beach were a little brighter, but I was shooting this mostly for the cloud formation over the water - it was just beautiful the way the clouds curve over the curve of the beach. No filter on this, it was dusk, hence the darker beach. DRebel, auto

The size of your post really enhances the effect! Did you use the lens that comes in the DRebel kit?

Very good feel to this, and the clouds do make the shot and yet have a soft subtle way about them. Just a suggestion, try dodging selectively areas in the foreground to bring out some detail and exposure. good work.

Yep! All original! I have the 52mm lens from my non-digital rebel (don't want to say old!) but haven't used it much, although most of my filters fit that lens.

Glad I waited to see this on my monitor. On the laptop it didn't look anything special.

Personally I like it as it is and would only change 1 thing, my sailing boat in the water sailing past.Purrrfect!
