Bare Branched

Taken on one of my many random walks, just as the sun was setting. We get some beautiful colours out here.

As a side note, I've had people (for some reason) claim that I've sneakily been off to Africa without telling them to take this . I assure you - English countryside all the way, whatwhat old chap!

I'd have preferred a bit of texture in the sky, but I think the image of the sole bare-branched tree ('lion king tree' according to my friend..) against the skyline is nice anyway. What do you guys reckon?

Man, I'd kill to be living in an area like that. I like your transition of color. I don't think another element is needed. Sometimes simple is best. Bravo!

Thanks for the kind words, John! This is another of my shots I'd love to see enlarged and up on my wall.. Just need to save a wee bit of money for a nice print.. Or maybe go for canvas .
